About

After moving to Tasmania in 2004 from New South Wales, having ran a small restaurant for private functions. After arriving we opened Huon Franklin Cottage in 2004 and a self-contained cottage in 2005 both won many awards like the People’s Choice award and business awards. My past work included being a tourism consultant on the Spirit of Tasmania. I attended Drysdale Cooking School in Hobart. After retiring found I missed visitors and hearing their stores. This encouraged me back into the Bed and Breakfast business. Continuing some of my old traditions and loving it.
